Game Development: Voltage Champion

Game development for Vitemeir Science Scenter

The ViteMeir Science Center in Kaupanger challenged us to create an experience for older children and teenagers that would be both engaging and educational, focusing on power production and supply.

The result is the game “Voltage Champion,” a fast-paced, action-packed touch game where players are tasked with maintaining the power supply and balancing the power grid of an ever-growing society.

As a player, you must navigate the increasing energy demands while minimizing environmental impact, utilizing modern power sources like wind energy.

The game is procedural, allowing for endless replayability without feeling repetitive, and you can choose to play solo or compete with friends.

This target audience is undoubtedly one of the hardest to engage, as they already have a vast array of digital experiences at their fingertips. That’s why we are thrilled to have developed an experience that is not only captivating but also subtly educates players on the importance of a stable and eco-friendly power grid.

Fun learning at its best!
