Miljøløftet – Animation

In 20 years we will be 30 000 more people in Bergen, Norway and the transportation needs of the public will have increased with almost 100 000 travels each day. This has to be handled in an environmentally friendly and smart way.

“Miljøløftet” (the “environmental promise”) is the name of the new agreement handling both city growth in Bergen as well as road tolls.

Miljøløftet is a collaborative effort between the state, the county, the municipality and the individual citizen. The next 20 years will see investments close to 30 billion NOK.
