W. Giertsen Services - 3d Illustrations

A familiar sight to the target audience

Giertsen Services identified a need to communicate more clearly their key products as well as appearing more attractive to their main customer segments. To solve this, we created illustrations showcasing their products in relevant and familiar settings and scenarios.

The images are used for marketing and sales presentations as well as forming the backbone of the new W. Giertsen Services website.

“Mount Visual helped us appear more relevant to our target audiences. They are both skilled and efficient.”

WWL - Visualising Breakbulk in 3D

Together with our talented friends in April Design we were given the task to develop Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics new brochure on the Breakbulk segment of their business.

We are fortunate to have a client like WWL who shares our view on the importance of visual communication and who see the need to combine high visual quality with a high degree of technical precision and detail level.

For WWL we have developed highly detailed 3D models of all cargo and all equipment that is typically used in the breakbulk segment, and these combined with our existing 3D model of the impressive Ro-Ro vessel M/V Tonsberg are the ingredients to create some high resolution images that convey the WWL breakbulk offering in an impressive and efficient way.

“Mount Visuals 3d work have contributed to a clear and modern profile for WWL.”

The Frekhaug Window in 3D

A traditional look – modern visuals

Photographing a window poses a range of challenges, such as costly logistics from the factory to the studio and producing custom products suitable for photography. For Frekhaugs newest alu-window which is made with a matte surface suitable for older, wooden houses – the solution was to visualise the product in 3D. In both images and film.

A flexible and cost efficient solution that makes it easy to update the material if the product changes or is updated.

SKS - D-Class 3d marketing animation

The D-Class. Explained.

For shipowners Kristian Gerhard Jebsen and SKS we have written and produced an animation in 5 parts about one of their tanker vessels, the D-Class. Each part has a duration of about a minute and all the parts deal with different subjects.

The goal is that the animation can be played back in its entirety or each chapter could be shown separately, as they are all written to be able to stand on their own. The result is a flexible tool that can be used in meetings as a response to a specific questions, or in bigger presentations.

Combining 2D motion graphics with 3D animation we make the most of both the message and the production budget.

Below, you can view chapter 4 of 5.

Small details – big ambitions

Film production for digital signage and expo usage.

The production for Aquamarine was done on location in their facilities at Vestby. We wanted to show how they perform Thermal Coating in the best possible way so a high-speed camera shooting 2500 frames per second was chosen.

While we shot the film, a range of photographs for marketing usage was also taken.

A very challenging production under challenging conditions – but with a unique result.

Suitable for a company with big ambitions.

Lundin Norway - Film production

A modern industry adventure

Lundin Norway is a unique company with a unique story. Their way of working separates them from competing companies and is the explanation behind their enormous success on the NCS.

To portray this culture and the story of Lundin in Norway we chose to interview a range of different employees picked from various positions and levels on the organisational chart. The employees came to our interviews unprepared.

The result is a truthful and heartfelt story about the company, from its humble beginnings to the discoveries of Edvard Grieg and Johan Sverdrup, the latter ranked as one of the larges discoveries on the NCS ever.

Argentum - Private Equity animation

Broad message – little time

Our client Argentum was invited to the NHH spring conference as a speaker under the headline “Does private equity contribute to change and innovation?”

With only 15 minutes at their disposal and a defined need to truly shed some light on the subject we chose to present parts of the message as a three-minute long film and use the rest of the allocated time presenting cases that confirmed the initial message.

The NHH spring conference has been a yearly event since 1995 and remains an important meeting place for corporate leaders, government officials, politicians and academics. Knowledgeable keynote speakers discuss pressing topics and discussions are held both in, and outside the auditorium.

“A solid job done with great enthusiasm. I recommend working with Mount Visual, they deliver!”

– Ingibjörg Meyer Myklestad, Argentum

Based of a script containing possible themes, points and cases we created a three-minute film as well as a corresponding PowerPoint presentation resulting in a coherent narrative for the audience within a 15-minute allocated time slot.

CCB - Corporate Film

The past meets the future on Ågotnes

Coast Center Base (CCB) is located on Ågotnes in Fjell municipality, about 20 minutes outside Bergen. The company has been running since 1973 and have built a high level of competence within service and supply, technical maintenance and port management.

In a very challenging time for the industry we were given the task of producing a new corporate film for the company.

Humble, knowledgeable and a long-term outlook are keywords for this production; We wanted to portray CCB as an industry player who have been for a long time, that has developed together with the NCS and as a someone who plans to remain a key player long into the future.

The film is shot on location at CCB at Ågotnes, as well as a few of their bigger tenants like Aker Solutions and FMC. We also brought a drone and made sure to shoot in all kinds of weather, trying to show the base in different ways.

Naxys - Acoustic Leak Detection & Conditon Monitoring

Seeing with sound

The “Acoustic condition monitoring & leak detection system” that Naxys has developed uses sound to highlight malfunctioning subsea equipment. Installed with the equipment on the ocean floor, the system listens for any errors based on the fact that each separate module and part produces its own unique sound. If the sound changes the equipment needs maintenance and repairs.

A very unique way to monitor so we decided to create something a bit different to showcase the Naxys technology. The 2d and 3d animations use authentic sound recorded by the system.
